This isn’t a reflection of my feelings (they depict too much sorrow/depression in my opinion). Just random doodles that happen to fall under such a category. Might I add that they are photoshop enhanced–i.e. I think the actual doodles aren’t as nice.

P.S. You might have noticed, one of the pics in this one is similar to this.

Horrid days.

Horrid, is when you’re still in school at 1 am on Monday morning, having stayed on after being in school for the Sunday.

Horrid, is when you hear other friends complaining how horrid is is, because they are preparing for exams and seem to have endless amounts to study, yet YOU haven’t even got the chance to START preparing.

Horrid, is when you sleep less than 12 hours in 5 days(I couldn’t perform the feat, but my group mate sure did) or average 3 hours of sleep everyday or don’t even sleep at all for some 30 to 40 hours.

Horrid, is when you know you are tired due to the above reason, but you can’t fall asleep and/or you wake up after half an hour of trying because you dream of programming/project mates and/or how much needs to be done.

I can’t wait for hell to be over.

Sorry for the lack of posts.

I shall end this drought with (what else?) but a brief doodle.

Had an ordinary conversation about ordinary things with some friends over a quick dinner some time back in the weeks. And the ordinary question popped out about what I wanted to do in the future, since graduation was in sight. No prizes what the first thought was, but people naturally assume/judge from the degree I’m “pursuing”. I didn’t say out my first thought, but I really wish I did now, just to see what their reaction is. I still wonder.

The Kiss

The Kiss

After the impact
I’m spinning, humming!
I’m reverberating -
insensible meral
Shivered like a bell!
As to what it means
I’m utterly lost!
I’m simply babbling -
Like a baby babbling!
I must be falling -
in a hole through time -
tumbling and falling!
Wiped out yesterday -
Wiped out tomorrow -
my self from life estranged.
I know only this:
the world can be changed
by a single kiss.

    the kiss

I walked along the thames today in the evening. There was this man writing poetries and displaying his work on the floor under a bridge. His poetries are sealed in colourful envelopes with the title written on the top,  in either charcoal or black crayon. This bearded man is amazing – he could recite all his poems by heart and with such feeling. I got myself a surprise envelope and gave his some tokens and left. And I gotta say i’m really pleasantly surprised.  =)

Gimp is useful. I have no Photoshop in my laptop so I use Gimp to play around with my photos when I feel like slacking. I fooled around and got this result:

                       before

                                          after

Boredom from essay writing.

I am such an idiot.

I didn’t know there’s a thing called deviantArt that exist! I wished I knew it earlier so I can drool over the many nice stuff there. It features stuff from drawing, fashion to photography etc. Pig actually knew about it existence and she has the perfect reason why we shouldn’t be a deviant because the works featured there are real good serious ones (sometimes) and our work in comparison is minuscule. The work from this guy is amazing (to me) and I am so inspired to do something similar, to capture everyday life in Europe beautifully and tastefully. My sony needs to work out some magic in order to achieve that. My camera aside, deviantArt is an international art community portal that’s worth visiting if you haven’t heard of it, like me.
