Inspired by a day at Sentosa and the literal translation of the game from Chinese. While recalling that actual day, the image of literal wooden men suddenly appeared in my head. And so it became a doodle. haha. Painted this entirely on photoshop, so the sea probably doesn’t look realistic (and I don’t happen to be very good at painting/painting seas >.< ) Just a little inspiration work (for memory’s sake) of that day

Sorry for the lack of updates!
I’ve been editing some pictures for the girl/hippo series in whatever free time I can find, but it’s taking too long! (& I’m still not done…-_-)
I realised when looking back on recent entries that it’s been awhile since I last put up some sketches. ‘Cos I’ve stopped sketching for awhile, but went back to it in the recent weeks. While I’m still busy editing, I’ll post up 2 of the sketches I’ve done. Let’s take a break from the hippo/girl series
Cough. I almost forgot this blog wasn’t just about them. haha. got carried away. More sketches next time.
Meanwhile, these are with references to some stranger’s beautiful photographs; the people were captured so well, I just felt like sketching them out.

p.s. Pardon the lighting of the sketches though. The new scanner i got just died on me after the 2nd time of usage (@#$%^ basket!) and I’ve yet to have it repaired so it’s just back to the period of camera taken pictures.

Was browsing through some photos and came across this one. So just thought to put it up:

Just a little something I scrapped out with the small ice-cream stick/pick. But I’d like to think it’s a piece of art. Wahaha. I like. ‘Twas free ice-cream which tasted just like coffee ice-cream, albeit with a “classier” name. Here, the size of Mr. Gelato relative to a hand.
